With over 40 years of experience, the Principal of IEC has the depth of knowledge, hands on experience, professional acumen, and discretion to conduct investigations and expert duties at the very highest levels.
Our services include forensic damage investigations, deposition testimony, subrogation assistance, mediation consultation, expert services during litigation, and sworn testimony at trial. Our work is driven by the needs of our clients and is directed by a factual analysis of the conditions, coupled with the extensive and wide-ranging experience of our Principal.
We have conducted property loss investigations and participated in negotiations, mediations, litigations and arbitrations all across the USA, and as far afield as Hawaii and the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Basin. We have in depth experience with every imaginable situation involving the design, construction, failure, and maintenance of the built environment.
As a Licensed Architect, the Principal of IEC represent the only professional discipline specifically qualified to address building envelope issues.

WHAT WE DO
We are devoted to the analysis of building component failures and their resultant impacts on individual properties. These failures may be associated with standard of care issues in design, construction defects, maintenance deficiencies, or the impact of catastrophic events.
Our expertise extends to wall cladding systems, roofing systems and anything related to the exterior shell of the building, the design and finish of the interior environment, and all architectural and interior systems.
